Oklahoma Clean Lakes and Watersheds Association (OCLWA) provides a forum for scientists, citizens, and professionals to exchange ideas, receive education and form partnerships to foster sound management and protection of lakes for today and tomorrow.
OCLWA supports the development of research and standards for lake and watershed management by hosting an annual technical symposium and supporting national lake and watershed management meetings.

We are excited to reinvigorate our annual conference format and reconnect after a three-year hiatus through the pandemic and other challenges. Consider presenting your important work and research at the region's largest conference in aquatic resource science and management. We will offer multiple presentation tracks, a student poster and oral presentation contest, sponsorship opportunities, and exhibit spaces.
To participate, presenters must submit an abstract of their proposed presentation on the following suggested topics or other topics that would be of interest to our audience:
- Lakes, Streams, and other Limnological Studies
- Nonpoint Source Pollution Management
- Watershed Science and Management
- Wetland Science and Management
- Water Quality Modeling
- Fisheries Science and Management
- State and Regional Water Quality Monitoring Programs
- Regional Water Quality Issues
- Invasive Aquatic Species
- Groundwater Science and Management
Abstracts must be 200 words or less, single spaced, formatted in Calibri 11 point font, and include the title followed by author(s) and affiliation. Completed submissions for presentations are due by March 17, 2023, but early submissions are encouraged!
