This year's Conference is being held on the shores of Fort Gibson Lake at the Western Hills Guest Ranch located in Sequoyah State Park near Hulbert, Oklahoma. The conference will begin on Wednesday, April 5 at 1:30 and conclude on Friday, April 7 at 11:30 am. An array of talks will be presented on Wednesday afternoon, and the Thursday morning session will showcase invasive species. A field trip will begin after lunch and last into the evening.

Field Trip
We will be traveling to the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System (MKARNS) Webbers Falls or R.S. Kerr Lock and Dam. During our visit Drs. Jim Schooley and Joe Bidwell will discuss regional impacts to ecosystems as a result of zebra mussel infestations. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will discuss the multiple uses of the Arkansas River relative to navigation, flood control, economic development, recreation, and public land management. The field trip will include a tour of the lock facilities and the powerhouse at the dam.
